Braybourne End reinterprets the familiar form of an agricultural building as a contemporary family home. Its simple pitched volumes give the house a strong identity, while timber cladding introduces warmth and helps the building sit naturally within its setting.
Generous glazing opens the principal living spaces to the garden, bringing natural light deep into the home and creating a close connection between inside and outside. The clean external form is balanced by a material palette that feels warm, calm and residential.
The result is a modern new home that takes its character from traditional barn architecture while being designed around contemporary family life.
